I’m still a little amazed. I’ve made a lot of drawings for the fashion industry. Clients like Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor, Saks, REI, etc. I’m just not known for my own wardrobe though, actually the opposite. I was nervous at first. What could I possibly convey about fashion? But I grew to really love drawing these images. It’s all about the subtle patterns of light and dark, and how they work as a drawn image first, then second as a fashion statement. Nordstrom seemed to like this approach. Great client.
