This image began a long series of dozens of trucks that I drew for Kenworth over the years. The driver is my friend and fellow illustrator, Dennis, who always wanted to be a truck driver. Kenworth was an awesome client, so I was disappointed to have to call on the day this first drawing was due to say that it would be late because I was at the hospital supporting my wife, who was delivering our daughter Madeline. Priorities! 25 years later, I put that same daughter behind the wheel of their biggest dump truck. Not their usual big, burly dude, but they liked it.
